67. Striped Bass
Striped Bass
Lake Norfork is well known for its excellent population of striped bass. The average
striper on Lake Norfork is about 10 to 12 pounds. Stripers in the 20 to 30 pound range are
fairly common. The largest striper ever caught on Lake Norfork was over 50 pounds.

With excellent populations of largemouth, smallmouth, white, and Kentucky bass, everyone
is given a chance to catch some nice bass. Courtesy of the Army Corps of Engineers,
District 2 of the Arkansas Department of Game and Fish, and local bass clubs, we have
numerous fish attractors located through out Lake Norfork. The location of the fish
attractors are well marked, and we also have maps showing attractor sites.

If trout are your preferred pursuit you've got some of the best in the world just 20
minutes from Teal Point. Both the North Fork and the White River have produced several
world class records as well as the former All Tackle World Record. In addition to large
trout there are four species in the rivers. In one day you can catch brown, brook,
